KC Alumni Tiger Stripes

KC Tiger Stripes is an organization of Mizzou alumni and friends in the Kansas City metropolitan that was started in 2011. Members of this group commit to spend 15 hours a year volunteering at community service and University events.  This group aims to make a difference, while providing a manageable, definite time commitment.  KC Tiger Stripes also provides a way to meet and network with local Mizzou alumni, and to become acquainted with Kansas City alumni leaders and events.

At the end of the year, all members who complete 15 hours working on KC Tiger Stripes service projects will “earn their stripes” and be recognized.  Tigers of all ages are welcome!

KC Tiger Stripes volunteers have helped at Tiger Ball, Friends of Mizzou Tailgate & Auction, the Kansas City Zoo “Boo at the Zoo” event, the CCVI Food Fight, and the Fall Yard Rakeover Makeover sponsored by the Shepherd's Center/Westport Co-op.  We are busy planning more exciting events -- check back soon for updates.
