KC Alumni Tiger Stripes

KC Tiger Stripes is a new organization of Mizzou alumni and friends in the Kansas City metropolitan area that commit to spend 15 hours a year volunteering at community service and University events.  This group aims to make a difference, while providing a manageable, definite time commitment.  KC Tiger Stripes also provides a way to meet and network with local Mizzou alumni, and to become acquainted with Kansas City alumni leaders and events.

At the end of the year, all members who complete 15 hours working on KC Tiger Stripes service projects will “earn their stripes” and be recognized.  Tigers of all ages are welcome!

In Fall 2011, KC Tiger Stripes volunteered at the Friends of Mizzou Picnic & Auction, the Ronald McDonald House by serving a Mizzou tailgate themed meal, the Kansas City Zoo “Boo at the Zoo” event and Harvesters Community Food Network.  We are busy planning more exciting events for 2012!  Check back soon for updates.
